THE STORIES THAT FLOW THROUGH HERE
The Suwannee has carried more than water. It has carried people, cargo, and generations of stories.

Built in Branford by Captain Robert “Bob” Ivey, this two-deck sternwheeler carried passengers and freight along the Suwannee. Florida’s archives remember it as one of the river’s best-known steamboats—and a favorite with honeymooners.
Pilot Dan McQueen, who helped build the vessel while teaching in Old Town, became part of its story too.
